A short drive from Halifax, our Nova Scotia Inn & Cottage Rental Accommodations are superbly located overlooking the beautiful Hubbards Cove, in St. Margaret's Bay. Our cottages are on the idyllic South Shore Lighthouse Route, and our central location is great for visiting Nova Scotia attractions such as, Halifax, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and the Annapolis Valley.

Enjoy quiet vistas right from our own dock, the gentle waves of the cove, hearing the birds call, spectacular sunsets and great seasonal photo opportunities.

Vacation accommodations include 12 cottages and 8 guest rooms, all named for the communities and beaches in our area.

Anchorage House and Cottages is a wonderful winter escape destination or a relaxing summer getaway.

You can stay up late and star gaze under the beautiful star-lit sky, play board games, turn on the fireplace, cuddle up and watch movies, take a dip in our heated salt-water pool, or sit down at our dock and glaze over the moonlight cove. The Anchorage House & Cottages is a great place for rejuvenating, relaxing, and the perfect location for beach strolls, going on nearby hikes/walks/bike rides through the rails to trail.
